It is with deep regret that the Portuguese Society of Neurosurgery (SPNC) announces the death of Prof. Dr. Evandro de Oliveira. Neurosurgery loses one of the most outstanding neurosurgeons of all time.

We recall that in 2019 the SPNC awarded its Medal of Merit to Prof. Dr. Evandro de Oliveira.
