The Portuguese Ministry of Health’s National Health Prize aims to distinguish, every year, for relevance and excellence in the field of Health Sciences, in its aspects of promotion, prevention and provision of health care, a personality who has unequivocally contributed to the achievement of health gains or to the prestige of health organizations within the scope of the National Health Service.
