It is with deep regret that the Portuguese Society of Neurosurgery (SPNC) announces the death of Dr. Artur Rocha Vaz, who for many years was the director of the neurosurgery service at Pedro Hispano Hospital.

The Portuguese Society of Neurosurgery recognizes and thanks him for his contribution to Portuguese neurosurgery and expresses its sympathy to his family and friends.
